TAF will derive its money from family, individual, or corporation – which includes but not limited to TAN Executive Team, TAN Members and Partners.
TAF will list all grants paid out at the end of each year including the recipient and the purpose of the grant.
TAF will be run by the Achievers Network (TAN) Executive Team, who will define and set out the eligibility criteria, requirements and specifications, as well as the geographic regions TAF we serve.

Our Plan

How we plan to help

Every year, millions of people find ways to transition out of poverty, but due to economic hardship—they are unable to succeed.

Therefore, TAF plan is to target the worlds poorest families or individuals. As such, in developing countries, TAF will focus on improving people’s health and wellbeing, helping families or individuals (in Sub-Saharan Africa specifically) lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty.

Our Advantage

What makes how we help different

TAF distinguished advantage is: Giving to individuals rather than organizations. In the 20th century, when charity evolved into philanthropy, one of the casualties was that grants shifted away from individuals and towards groups.

This meant that instead of helping poor people, philanthropy fought the “root causes” of poverty, which meant they funded wealthy sociologists studying poor people. For instance: In medical research, this meant shifting away from helping sick people pay for their bills towards medical research that helped everyone.

While funding of medical research is, in my view, one of the strengths of philanthropy, many foundations have done a bad job in helping individual people with their giant medical bills.

Fortunately, the rise of GoFundMe, YouCaring, and similar online platforms has filled the gap. GoFundMe says it has raised $5 billion for medical bills since 2009, and YouCaring says it has raised $900 million

Our Charitable Programs

TAF as a private foundation is dedicated to making life better for people through these two programs:

  • Grants Program

  • Scholarships Program

  • Scholarships Program = 30%

Grants Program

Our grant funding areas is defined for:

  • Aging

  • Disabilities

  • Early Childhood Education

  • Homeless & Disadvantaged

  • Youth Development

Our goal is to improve the health, economic, social and spiritual conditions of the men, women and children we will serve through relief aid and programmes in the areas of housing, food, medical, water, sanitation, education, agriculture, outreach and micro-enterprise.

Our Grants Program will:

  1. Provide the poor with access to financial tools: We believe that by giving people the tools to lead healthy, productive lives, we can help them lift themselves out of poverty.

  2. Empower the poorest especially women and girls, to transform their lives: We know women and girls have a unique power to reshape societies. When you invest in a woman’s education, it has a ripple effect, helping families, communities, and countries achieve long-lasting benefits.

  3. Inspire people to take action to change their world

  4. Improve the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people throughout the world.

Scholarship Program

Our Scholarship Program will provide financial assistance to students in:

  • Elementary School / Primary School

  • High School / Secondary School

  • College / University (First Degree Only)

  2. Disadvantaged students due to economic hardship who also exhibit leadership skills through participation in extracurricular activities.

TAF Standards

TAF will adhere to the following direction regarding our charitable giving:
